Real-time, automated systems are now feasible due to innovations like Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, satellite-based remote sensing, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven data analytics, and blockchain technology. These tools provide unprecedented accuracy, scalability, and efficiency, enabling better understanding and management of environmental resources.

IoT has revolutionized environmental monitoring through its ability to deploy interconnected sensors that collect data on air quality, water parameters, and soil health in real-time.
