Circular agriculture offers a transformative approach to sustainable farming by focusing on the efficient use and recycling of resources within agricultural systems. Unlike traditional linear farming, which relies on a constant input of resources and generates significant waste, circular agriculture emphasizes closing nutrient and resource loops, minimizing environmental impact, and maintaining ecosystem health. This review explores the principles of circular agriculture, detailing how sustainable farming practices such as composting, crop rotation, agroforestry, and integrated pest management contribute to a zero-waste system. By reusing agricultural waste, recycling water, and utilizing renewable energy sources, circular agriculture aims to reduce resource depletion and enhance biodiversity.
