Complaints and Appeals Policy
Environmental Reports is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency in the publication process. We recognize that issues may arise during the submission and review process, and we have established a clear policy for addressing complaints and appeals.
Complaints
Authors, reviewers, and readers may submit complaints regarding any aspect of the journal’s processes, including but not limited to:
Editorial decisions (acceptance, rejection, or revision of manuscripts).
Peer review quality and timeliness.
Ethical concerns regarding published content.
Issues related to conflicts of interest.
To submit a complaint, individuals should contact the editorial office via email at [mailto: editor@researchfloor.org. All complaints will be acknowledged within a reasonable timeframe, and a thorough investigation will be conducted. The outcome will be communicated to the complainant as soon as possible.
Appeals
Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision regarding their manuscript may do so by submitting a formal appeal. Appeals should be made in writing and should include:
A clear statement of the grounds for the appeal, including specific reasons for contesting the decision.
Any relevant evidence or information that supports the appeal.
Appeals should be sent to the editorial office at editor@researchfloor.org within 30 days of receiving the decision. The Editor-in-Chief will review the appeal, possibly consulting with the editorial board and reviewers as necessary. The final decision will be communicated to the authors, and the outcome of the appeal will be considered final.
Confidentiality and Fairness
All complaints and appeals will be treated with confidentiality and handled fairly. We are committed to ensuring that all parties involved are treated with respect and that the processes are transparent and unbiased.
By adhering to this policy, Environmental Reports aims to foster a constructive environment for authors, reviewers, and readers while maintaining the integrity of the publication process.
